Summer shouldn't mean giving up on tea. We wanted to reimagine tea for warmer days - cooler, lighter and more refreshing, without losing what makes tea, tea. So we created Gardner Street Cold Brew: tea slowly brewed in cold water, freshly bottled and made to order.
WHY WE CREATED COLD BREW TEA
Tea has always been about slowing down, taking a moment and enjoying something thoughtfully made. But when summer arrives, we often reach for something colder. We started asking ourselves a simple question: Why does tea get left behind in summer? We wanted something that kept the integrity of tea intact, but made it lighter, cleaner and easier to come back to. That thought became Gardner Street Cold Brew.
INTRODUCING BOTTLED COLD BREW TEA TO INDIA
We introduced bottled cold brew tea to India with a simple idea: tea could be enjoyed differently. Instead of brewing tea hot and cooling it down, cold brew tea is steeped slowly in cold water. The process takes time, but the result is worth it - a smoother, lighter and naturally refreshing expression of tea. What began as an experiment at Gardner Street became our answer to summer drinking: real tea, brewed cold, bottled fresh.
WHAT IS COLD BREW TEA?
Cold brew tea is made by steeping tea leaves in cold water for 8–12 hours rather than brewing them with hot water. The slower brewing process brings out a smooth, natural flavour, creating a light, crisp and refreshing tea that's particularly suited to warmer days. Unlike traditional iced tea, which is generally brewed hot and then cooled, cold brew tea is brewed cold from the beginning.

WHY IS OUR COLD BREW MADE TO ORDER?
Our cold brew isn't made to sit on a shelf. Every bottle is freshly brewed in small batches and prepared specifically for your order. This helps us maintain the freshness, flavour and quality we want every bottle to have. Our cold brew currently has a 4-day shelf life, which is why we keep production intentionally small and offer it on a made-to-order basis. Minimum order quantities apply. Currently available in Mumbai.

This began with a simple thought: Why does tea get left behind in summer? I didn't want to create another bottled beverage and simply put a tea label on it. I wanted to create something that still felt like tea - just lighter, cleaner and easier to come back to. So we started experimenting. Tea brewed slowly in cold water. No sugar. No unnecessary additives. No shortcuts. Just tea, time and cold water. What came out of those experiments became Gardner Street Cold Brew. For me, it's about finding new ways to experience something familiar while keeping the things that make it special. If it feels like a small shift, it is. But I believe these are the shifts that slowly change how we experience tea in India.
